U.S. Bank Process Redesign Executive in Annapolis, Maryland
This role will provide the vision, leadership and direction to redesign and implement solutions to automate inefficient operational processes utilizing Six Sigma DMAIC methodologies. Will lead a team of operational, technical and analytical experts building technical solutions that align to compliance and regulatory requirements while maximizing profitability.
The team will be leveraging Six Sigma methodologies and will require a professional with an analytical background holding either a Black Belt or Master Black Belt certification or equivalent skill set. They will work across CBSS (U.S. Bank's Consumer Banking Sales/Support) business lines identifying and creating end to end process solutions.
Project/Process knowledge will be required to lead and manage these successful build out teams:
Define project scope and purpose: Build project charters, stakeholder analyses, voice of the customer, and high level process mapping
Gather information on the current situation: Understand capabilities of current process including control charts, Pareto Charts, detail process mapping and Failure Mode Effect Analysis
Identify root cause(s) and confirm them with data: Analyze why processes have variation or fail, cause and effect, hypothesis testing and regression analysis
Pilot and implement solutions that address root causes: Determine optimal potential solutions, perform cost benefit analyses, and develop timelines for implementing change
Monitor the solutions that were implemented: Build control plans, monitor performance of Business after implementing change, develop routines for addressing out of control conditions, and perform lessons learned post implementation
Financial service business knowledge will be highly preferred for this role. Extremely qualified manager candidates can work remotely though they should expect to frequently travel to key consumer banking hubs for leadership and implementation meetings.
Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited college/university
Six Sigma certified (Black Belt or Master Black Belt level)
7 or more years of strategic work experience influencing major project changes
Five or more years of supervisory/management experience
Superior knowledge of operation functions, systems, policies and procedures for financial services sectors
In-depth understanding and practical application of applicable laws and regulations
Strong analytical, decision-making, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Well-developed leadership abilities and strategic management skills
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
