Role Summary:

advancement. The Breast Imaging (BI) Sales Manager role is responsible for leading, motivating

and developing a team of BI Sales Specialists to meet quarterly and annual Revenue and Margin


Essential Responsibilities:

*Directly manage Breast Imaging Sales Specialists who sell directly to the end external customer

within the region. Select, train, develop and lead personnel to optimize effectiveness.

*Proactively develop and implement sales strategies to drive organic growth in the BI markets

*Cultivate and leverage customer relationships at the all levels as necessary.

*Develop long-term customer relationships coupled with the ability to identify and capitalize on

opportunities that immediately satisfy customer needs.

*As a member of senior leadership team, ensure seamless teamwork with other sales segments

and the service organizations to provide total customer satisfaction.

*Deploy and optimize resources to meet quarterly and annual financial /operating objectives

including Orders, Revenue, Standard Margin, Distribution Operating Margin, Receivables, Base

Cost and Growth targets.

  • Work effectively with the regions to further the orders and sales of the Breast Imaging business


This position is open to candidates internal to GE. This position is for the Central Zone.

Candidate should live near a major airport that allows efficient coverage of the assigned


*Bachelor's Degree

*At least one of the following core experiences: 5+ years of successful consultative sales

experience including strategic selling and negotiation, Graduate of the Experienced Commercial

Leadership Program, 5+ years GEHC experience in customer facing/commercial operations roles,

or 5+ years in progressively larger formal leadership roles with experience managing professional

direct reports in sales

*Basic proficiency in computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite products

*Willingness to travel at least 40% within your specified geographic region with occasional

overnight stays depending on geography and business need

The successful applicant must comply with GEHC’s standard background check, including a postoffer

Desired Characteristics:

*Previous healthcare experience is preferred

*Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with customers, other sales segments

and GE Healthcare functions

*Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport at all levels within an organization

*Proven professional business acumen and executive relationship building skills in a

hospital/clinic/healthcare environment

*Demonstrated ability to evaluate, select, coach, develop and motivate talent

*Strong communication and clear thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex issues into

simple messages

*Ability to multi-task effectively and manage multiple priorities at one time

*Previous experience managing business balance sheet financials including revenue, margins and


*Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as a part of a

solution-based sales process
