Program Assistant - Healthcare Laboratory PT
This position provides program support, specifically in the healthcare laboratories, to the Director as well as the Course Manager for Healthcare. It requires strong organizational, administrative, computer and people skills, as well as specialized knowledge and skills about the equipment used in healthcare training laboratories. Additionally, this position uses collaborative communication with continuing education staff, part-time adjunct faculty, students and the Continuing Education and Workforce Development (CEWD) Operation Department to support the delivery of high quality continuing education courses.
The work schedule for this part-time position is 20 hours per week, Tuesday and Thursday 9:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. and Wednesday 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Flexibility is required. Effective 7/1/15, permanent employees who work less than 30 hours per week are no longer eligible for medical, dental or vision benefits.

Are you an AHA/BLS Instructor, or are you willing to obtain AHA/ BLS Instructor certification within 1 year of hire?
What is your level of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Publisher, Power Point…)?
Are you willing to travel to all campuses on a weekly basis?

Associate of Arts degree and/or 5+ years of office and/or combined Healthcare/Central Supply experience required; background in continuing education and healthcare industry knowledge preferred.
Obtain AHA/BLS Instructor certification within 1 year of hire.
Required knowledge, skills and abilities: proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs, internet email, scheduling tools, regulatory reporting and record keeping.
Required knowledge of healthcare training equipment and maintenance.
Accuracy and attention to details are required.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Must be able to work independently and adhere to established work schedule.
