Junior Financial Analyst
The Junior Financial Analyst will provide financial and/or accounting support to the contract customer. The selected candidate will prioritize and manage the execution of financial tasks under this contract and will report to and be accountable to the company project manager. Responsibilities include:
Performing analytical and evaluative work, demonstrating a knowledge of financial and management organization, and operations and practices, including statutory or regulatory requirements.
Direct/assist company project personnel with financial tracking, budget formulation, execution, and reconciliation support.
Provide support for a variety of company management activities, corporate initiatives, special projects, and data calls.Education/Experience: An AS or AA degree and at least two (2) years of experience in a business or technical position is required. This position will allow various combinations of education and experience using a 1 year of education for 1 year of experience substitution.Desired experience includes:
Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Case Development, Case and Case Financial Management and Case Closure
FMS Financial management of Acquisition programs; development of cost estimates and program status reports
Knowledge of DoD Federal management Regulations (FMR), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR, PPBE and Navy ERP
Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office Suite is required.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Preferred skills:
Knowledge of major weapons system acquisition
Knowledge of FMS, DSAMS, MISIL and FMS Case Development and Documentation
Knowledge of P& A and LoA development and preparation
