Job Title: Electrician C
Electrician (3rd Shift)
Work Schedule: 10:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. (Mon-Sat) with a rotating day off throughout the week
The primary purpose of an Electrician is to service and maintain all electrical systems on the complex; such as three phase motor services, control circuits, main and sub panels, lighting systems, transformers etc. by reading schematics and using ohm meters,
amp meters, voltage testers, and a working knowledge of electrical theory. Advanced knowledge of industrial electrical systems is expected.
Service, repair, adjust and test machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment that operates primarily on the basis of mechanical, electrical, and electronic principles.
Identify information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.
Use gauges, dials or other indicators to insure proper machine/electrical operation.
Troubleshoot, install, inspect, maintain, and repair plant control and power systems, well pumps, production equipment, utilities, buildings, and other equipment as directed. Must be able to operate all high voltage switch gear.
Draw complex schematic diagrams as required.
High School Diploma or GED.
A minimum of 1 year experience as an industrial electrician or related field.
Strong reading and analytical skills.
Good communication skills.
Must be able to read, write and speak English.
Must be able to trouble shoot all switches, 3 phase motor and service light fixtures and ballasts, bird shocker and Z wire control circuits.
