Leidos Sr Information Assurance/Computer Network Defense Analyst in SUITLAND, Maryland


Leidos is seeking a Senior Information Assurance/Computer Network Defense (IA/CND) Security Analyst/Engineer for our customer site in Suitland, MD. This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance.


The Senior IA/CND Security Analyst/Engineer will provide support to ensure products and services comply with all appropriate Information Assurance policies/procedures, network defense requirements and best practices as prescribed by ODNI, DIA, DoD, DISA, Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command (NCDOC), NCIS, Intelligence Community-Incident Response Center (IC­IRC), and local authorities.

The Senior IA/CND analyst will provide support protection activities and response actions for government Information Technology systems. Additionally, this person will help ensure that all products and services delivered on this contract meet or exceed the security criteria specified by external authorities for computer network defense.



BS.BA and 8+ years of experience in the CND discipline OR a MA/MS and 6 + years of relevant work experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree

Active CEH certification or able to achieve a CEH certification within 6 months of hire.

5+ yrs with CND tools such as HBSS, IPS, Log and data analysis / /

Active TS/SCI clearance

Experience with DoD Directive 8500.01E, Chairman Joint Chief of Staff (CJCS) Instruction 6510.01, DoD Instruction O-8530.2, and Secretary of the Navy Instruction (SECNAVINST) 523
